Alex Yost: I am a marketing and brand management executive leader, entrepreneur and small business owner.Global Business,$2 Billion P&L, Brand Management, Product ManagementMy first job out of college was to sell copiers for Xerox. The sales training was state of the art, and I wore out a lot of shoes making sales calls while learning how companies make decisions.After several successful years selling for Xerox, I decided to put my Duke MBA to use and took on a product management role at IBM. I have managed brands and marketing in the U.S. and internationally, including a stint managing the brand’s AP business, I have launched brands, managed alliances and built strategies with some very talented colleagues and partners.Our biggest successes come from listening to clients. I have sponsored primary research worldwide and made thousands of sales calls to learn about client businesses. I have led teams that introduced several new offerings to market that have disrupted existing models and changed the trajectory of our business. I enjoy advocating for our offerings with industry analysts, press, partners, clients and at conferences around the world.in 2016, two partners and I founded Exeter Building Company. Exeter is a custom home builder in the fast growing Raleigh North Carolina market.
