HEDNO S.A.(Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator S.A.) was formed by the separation of the Distribution Department from PPC S.A, according to L.4001/2011 and in compliance with 2009/72/EC EU Directive relative to the electricity market organization, with the goal to operate, maintain and develop power distribution network in Greece.Main responsibilites in the Sector of Funded Investments (NSRF/ESPA Projects of the EU) in the Directorate of Monitoring Subsidized Projects & Actions:1. Project Monitoring & Compliance• Ensuring that funded projects comply with EU regulations and national laws• Overseeing the implementation and progress of projects to confirm adherence to approved plans and budgets• Conducting audits and inspections on subsidized projects to detect and prevent irregularities2. Financial & Administrative Oversight• Reviewing and verifying financial reports, expenditures, and reimbursement requests from beneficiaries• Ensuring correct allocation and utilization of NSRF/ESPA funds• Coordinating with financial control units to prevent fraud and mismanagement3. Reporting & Documentation• Preparing progress reports, evaluations, and recommendations for authorities and EU institutions• Maintaining records and databases of funded projects• Assisting in drafting policy guidelines for project implementation4. Communication & Coordination• Acting as a liaison between government authorities, EU institutions, and project beneficiaries• Providing guidance and support to stakeholders regarding funding requirements and procedures• Attending and organizing meetings, workshops, and training sessions related to EU funding programs5. Risk Management & Problem-Solving• Identifying risks in project implementation and proposing corrective actions• Assisting in resolving legal and administrative issues related to funding• Responding to audits and evaluations conducted by national and EU authorities
