Atypical CFO with extensive experience in supporting a fast growing US Joint VentureOver the years at Indigo, exploring many areas of finance, I have earned a reputation of being the “Swiss Army Knife” of finance while facilitating our US Joint-Venture with LAZ Parking bridging the gap across continents and cultures on many areas. Recently, in a very amusing way, I was even recognized as able to transform bagels into croissants!Embracing a hybrid role of Joint-Venture Facilitator since my transfer to the US early 2008 to support the fastest growing parking company in the US, I have been balancing my responsibilities between LAZ and Indigo liaising with France on various financial projects, and responsibilities including many M&A deals.Acting as the US Head of Controlling for many reporting requirements, the scope of my responsibilities has been wide including Budgeting, LT Business Planning, M&A modeling, IFRS reporting, new accounting standards (i.e. IFRS15 & 16), Treasury, Taxation, Implementation of CPM solutions, Due Diligences and ad-hoc projects.Additionally, I played a key role within the LAZ team creating and growing the FP & A department. Preferring to manage from behind, believing in creative and collaborative leadership, I would always take great pleasure in inspiring a team of talented analysts, in developing their agility, and in problem-solving together. And indeed, leading the LAZ FP & A team was an incredible opportunity to harness the team’s collective ideas and talents when we deployed Tagetik as a CPM solution for Budgeting, Business Planning, and Financial Reporting and furthermore when we took initiatives getting down in the trenches to pioneer Power-BI on the finance front.After a decade, living the astonishing growth of LAZ, sprouting from 400 to locations, my positioning has recently been broadened to also develop a new CFO role embarking on a start-up venture dedicated to promote Indigo’s vision of the parking of tomorrow, open to its environment at the heart of the mobility of smart cities of the future. While still supporting a more mature and established LAZ team on cross-functional matters, ensuring the corporate liaison, I am expanding my horizons by wearing many hats in collaborating to PERE ventures dedicated to parking and mobility assets.
