About Alexandre Lebeaut
Seasoned C-suite executive, pharma/biopharma global R&D leader and pediatrician. I was most recently CEO of I-ACT for Children, a non-profit pediatric development powerhouse dedicated to advancing clinical development in children. Through expert resources and a dedicated site network, this institute\'s mission is to close the gap between adult drug and pediatric labeling of therapeutic innovations. As a R&D executive, I have successfully contributed to the global development and commercialization of therapeutic advances in oncology, infectious diseases, pediatrics, genetic diseases, gastroenterology, cardio-metabolic and neurology. In addition to recently serving as EVP and chief scientific officer for IPSEN Bioscience in Cambridge, Massachusetts, I have held senior R&D leadership positions at Sanofi, Novartis, Bluebird Bio, Axcan Pharmaceuticals and Schering-Plough Research Institute.I served on the board of directors for Vifor Pharma (Switzerland-now part of CSL Behring), Calypso Biotech (Switzerland-now part of Novartis) and OSE ImmunoTherapeutics (France). I continue to serve as non-executive director for ImmunoRx Pharma Inc (U.S.), CYTEA-BIO (France) and Neurenati Therapeutics (Quebec, CA). I am also a Consultant for the biopharma industry. My specialties include: executive leadership, global drug development, pediatric research, clinical trials process optimization, thought leadership, non-profit development, and board director.
