Agile Delivery Chapter Manager @Canadian Tire Corporation

As a Chapter Manager within the enterprise Data and Integration department, my main responsibilities were spearheading an agile delivery framework, talent strategy, development opportunities, and strategic staffing and allocating chapter members to product initiatives. Ensure the application of consistent standards across the expertise domain, maintain a talent pool of contributors to this expertise domain and coordinates with Product Owners to ensure they have adequate functional support for their mission- Responsible for coaching and mentoring chapter members toward desired behaviours and outcomes, as outlined by the roadmap and strategic initiatives- Ensure the integrity of the functional area by collaborating with the Product Owners and Pod Tech Leads to make sure architectural, functional & regulatory standards are being adhered to, and facilitate the teams to maintain and build out new capabilities and/or systems in a manner such that they drive efficiency of execution while solving for scale, resilience, and reliability simultaneously- Collaborate with the technology domain with the objective of promoting consistency of technical approach and shared knowledge across the organization. As part of this accountability, create cross-functional learning opportunities for chapter members in order to promote technical depth- Build & maintain consistent standards-based technical practice by participating in the creation of standards, keeping up to date on governance and regulatory standards of the domain, and building in education and standards enforcement into the chapter- Financial management of all the OPEX and Capital initiatives, including day-to-day oversight as well as annual financial forecast and planning.
