I have a deep-rooted passion for the dairy industry, stemming from my upbringing on my family’s dairy farm. This early exposure to the world of agriculture inspired me to pursue a Bachelor\'s degree in Dairy Science and Agricultural Business at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and a Master’s degree in Applied Economics, with a focus on Agricultural Economics, at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. After graduation, I worked for nearly three years as an Agricultural Economist at the California Federal Milk Marketing Order, learning the ins and outs of milk pricing and pooling. Today, I bring my professional expertise in dairy markets and economics to HighGround Dairy. I am passionate about using data-driven insights to enhance the sustainability and profitability of all businesses within the dairy industry.
