ABOUT ALEXANDRA KUGELMAS
I am a senior at the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business with a growing passion for psychology and its applications in understanding people and driving positive change.Since my first year, I’ve been actively involved in TAMID, gaining hands-on experience in consulting, client relations, and team leadership, most recently as Director of Consulting. An internship at a public health research institute exposed me to the intersection of law, policy, and health, highlighting how social determinants shape equity and access. My psychology coursework and volunteer work, particularly within the justice system, have deepened my interest in human behavior and motivation. This past summer, I worked as a Business Operations and Data Analytics Intern at a corporate law firm and this last semester interned with the Washtenaw Public Defender\'s Office, which further strengthened my understanding of organizational and societal systems.While my academic foundation is in business, my experiences have inspired me to explore how psychological insight can be used to better support others, foster understanding, and create meaningful change across diverse contexts.
