ABOUT ALEX BOYD

Leading teams and transformation programmes with Newton. We work as a strategic delivery partner to support endeavours of national importance.Most recently my work has been partnering with some of the UK\'s largest utilities providers to get ahead of the huge challenges that come with higher stakes and the ongoing ramp-up in investment in the UK\'s critical infrastructure.We always approach challenges with a fresh, data-led and obsessively outcome-focussed perspective, and deliver operational transformation, digitally enabled, and always with a focus on the people driving and sustaining the change.I am motivated by the Impact of the work I do - whether supporting the UK to run safely, efficiantly and securely through our national infrastructure, supporting environmental sustainability through tangible, operational improvements, or maintaining a focus on my teams through championing an inclusive, supportive, empowrring and high-performing culture.Graduated 1st Class Hons, Master of Engineering, Durham University, with awards listed below and final project published through the CIRED 2021 Conference.Outside work I\'m likely to be exploring new places, stubbornly sitting outside pretending the weather is nice, or cursing and swearing doing DIY.Happy to connect to chat about how we can impactfully make the world a better place.
