I have been so fortunate to work for two FTSE100 companies, presently Burberry and previously at Rolls-Royce for over twenty years, the main theme of my career and a passion of mine has been “delivering change”. This initially started off through automating processes by developing systems for an Aftermarket function. Over the years I have worked in various functions including Engineering, Aftermarket, Quality, Business Improvement and for twelve years in IT.Previously SC cleared (Sept 2019) qualified and practiced using APM, ISEB Business Analysis and Six sigma covering waterfall and agile methodologies (including KANBAN). My key strengths are being able to deliver projects based upon a thorough understanding of the business problem (six sigma skill set) and business requirements (6 years as a business analyst) and using my leadership skills to encourage the project team and where required problem solve risks and issues throughout the lifecycle.Furthermore, my ease of building credibility with stakeholders using project-based knowledge of functions has proven to be invaluable. These stakeholders vary in seniority and cover a wide range of functions including Engineering (including MOD customer), Manufacturing, Customer Business, Sales, Finance, HR, and Purchasing.After a number of exciting years, I’ve made the decision to leave Rolls-Royce and extend my experience on a contractual basis.
