Develop and implement the vision and strategy for the Access to Care team. Part of MaineHealth\'s Center for Health Improvement (CHI), Access To Care is comprised of several programs that work together, as well as with the health system and community at large, to provide Maine and New Hampshire residents access to health coverage and care regardless of income level.The Access To Care team works to ensure comprehensive, affordable health care for all and connects community members to coverage options such as MaineCare and the health insurance marketplace (coverme.gov). Low-income and uninsured patients are connected to donated health care services and free/low-cost medications through the CarePartners and MedAccess programs. Access to Care is a fully integrated operation within MaineHealth and assists with addressing non-clinical barriers (social drivers of health) such as transportation issues, food insecurities, and housing.
