Develop residential circuit protection products to meet customer requirements utilizing strategies such as Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) to ensure design robustness, optimize product performance and manufacturability, improve quality and reduce costs. • Lead all aspects of the product development cycle including design, prototyping, performance validations, testing, qualification, reliability and implementation into production. Manage projects utilizing DFSS and project management tools such as Agile Scrum/ProLaunch. • Design and analysis of parts, components, assemblies, subassemblies and systems, and the production of associated drawings and instructions utilizing 3D CAD applications such as SolidWorks and Creo Parametric while applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD & T). • Work with supply chain and manufacturing to develop and qualify tooling and other manufacturing processes, perform first article of inspection (FAI), complete production part approval (PPAP), monitor and assessment of critical to quality requirements (CTQ’s) in order to bring new products to market.
