Hi! I’m Alba, a Software Engineering student currently working as a Data Engineer.What truly motivates me is understanding the entire data lifecycle, from how data is generated and processed to how it can be transformed into insights that support real decision-making, especially in areas with social and health impact. I’m particularly interested in how data engineering and analytics can help improve systems, optimize resources, and solve complex real-world problems.I’m currently completing a Master’s in Big Data & Data Engineering at UCM, where I’m deepening my knowledge in scalable data architectures, pipelines, and advanced data processing One of my most rewarding experiences so far was participating in a Datathon organized by Dedalus, where my team achieved second place by predicting surgery durations. This experience reinforced how much I enjoy applying data to practical problems in the healthcare domain, combining technical skills with analytical thinking.I mainly work with Python and SQL, and I enjoy continuously learning new tools and exploring projects that blend data, technology, and real-world impact. I’m always open to connecting with people who share an interest in data, innovation, and using technology to make things work better.
