I am writing three books about wisdom acquired from unusual places:\"Traveling the Consulting Road\" a sometimes sardonic book for new and old consultants and their clients,\"Change Leader? Who Me,\" lessons from observing more failures than successes leading change, and \"Wisdom from Unusual Places,\" stories about work, love and life told by \"kind of a weird kid.\"After failures at morning paper routes and caddying I started my worklife wanting to be an actor. Then I was a booking agent for speakers for nine years. Then for almost 40 years, I was a consultant dedicated to helping leaders in companies make strategic change. I was a trainer, coach and catalyst. I facilitated leadership teams, helped manage process improvement and innovation initiatives.Thank you to all of my clients who made my work meaningful and to all of my colleagues who helped make it stimulating and fun.
