Our team designs, tests, and implements the next generation of access network technologies. Presently that next-gen technology is Remote-PHY. My current role centers around the automation and scaling of Remote PHY devices (RPDs) and the data/video convergence necessary at the CCAP to enable R-PHY.My previous role at Cox was that of IPv6 technology lead, where I led the team that introduced IPv6 to over 3 million residential and commercial subscribers, and converted another 3 million settop boxes from IPv4 to IPv6. During my years on the Access Engineering team I\'ve worked on many projects in the DOCSIS/IP networking area, most of them related to our DSG-based video settop boxes and supporting infrastructure.
