ABOUT ALAN PRITCHARD

Experienced innovator and innovation consultant focused on turning Innovation into Impact: the key to the transition to a resilient, sustainable and equitable future- as an I2I coach and accelerator with my own company Zen Systems, with the flagship cooperation developing the impact activity for ConstellR GmbH - as a freelance Senior Consultant with Zaz Ventures, supporting Eu EIC accelerator EU (previously H2020 SME instrument) proposal funding (particularly within energy, space, ICT, food tech)- and as an innovator (I am a serial idea generator, who has won prizes and recognition for previous innovation within Sweden). With ZAZ ventures, I have secured >€18M in >14 projects funded to date, and each project has real impact beyond jobs and value creation, to saving Mt in CO2, saving lives, improving quality of life, etc. With my most recent client ConstellR I am able to move beyond that into hands-on resourcing to participate more directly in the impact journey of one such company. In my consulting, I focus on Zenovation: a comprehensive process of acceleration from innovation into sustainable business. I use interactive assessment, empowerment, process facilitation and resourcing to help start-ups, and new projects in existing ventures, focus down and achieve their goals more rapidly. I have a growing interest into realising professionally what drives me privately - connectedness, communication; synergy across disciplines, cultures and viewpoints; tearing down artificial and destructive barriers and black/white simplifications of complex situations. Moving beyond a society of isolated individuals and ventures, to a network of smart, sustainable, mutually-supporting resources, creating the better future that is, despite the challenges and periodic self-defeating nonsense of humans, eminently possible. Part of this is also calling as a Bard: finding, choosing, living and telling better stories - professionally and personally. This is central to life - the only way to \'save the world\' is to empower individuals to make better choices, and the best way to do that is to recognise and negate the negative stories they live in. Telling a better story, to myself about myself, to friends and colleagues, about clients and customers, is beginning to be the focus of my day.
