I\'m a multimedia sports journalist pursuing journalism and digital media at Marquette University. I have experience in producing, videography, social media, radio, and print for Marquette student media.The moment I fell in love with journalism was a complete accident. As an eager 6th grader, I courageously signed up for a public speaking competition. Every category was filled, except news reporting. I scribbled my name with hesitancy, yet I decided to push through. A month later, the first competition rolled around. The thrill of finding stories, storytelling, and performing was exhilarating. It was in that moment where I found a deep love for broadcasting, especially sports.When arriving as a first-year student at Marquette, I wanted to make a name for myself. I volunteered for Marquette University Television\'s weekly sports show, Golden Eagle Sports Report. I also wrote for the CBS affiliate website, MarquetteHoops.com. Shortly after, I was hired as a sports reporter for the Marquette Wire.I was promoted to assistant sports producer for Marquette Wire Sports at the beginning of the 20••••20 school year. In this position, I created sports packages and produced content for Golden Eagle Sports Report.This past year, I was promoted to the Marquette University Television General Manager. In this role, I oversee the entire operation of MUTV Sports, News, Arts & Entertainment, and Production. My favorite part of the job is mentoring my team to produce content that is diverse, engaging, and factually correctI\'m excited to announce that I\'ll be the Executive Director of the Marquette Wire for the 2021-22 school year!
