Ambitious and analytical Civil Engineering student at Texas A&M University with a passion for bridging engineering, finance, and data-driven decision-making.I chose to pursue Civil Engineering to push my limits and develop a unique approach to problem-solving, strengthening my analytical and quantitative abilities along the way. What I enjoy most about my degree is how it encourages creative problem-solving techniques and rewards persistence when tackling challenges, even when their solutions seem impossible to reach. Once I discovered commercial finance, I knew I had found my career, as it merged my favorite aspects of engineering, enabled me to leverage them, and allowed me to continue challenging myself in a fast-paced, high-pressure, merit-based environment.Areas of Excellence:• Analytical Problem-Solving Skills - I enjoy applying the problem solving skills that I have gained from engineering beyond the classroom. As Family Welcome Coordinator for Texas A&M’s Muster Committee, I was tasked with designing and executing the Family Welcome Room to improve the check-in process for honored families. Instead of maintaining the existing structure, my partner and I took a data-driven approach, analyzing inefficiencies from previous years and completely reworking the layout. While this overhaul posed risks, it resulted in the most efficient and effective setup to date, enhancing the event experience.• Adaptive Learning Capabilities – Engineering has taught me how to quickly adapt to new concepts and technologies. I apply this skill as a Research Assistant at Urban Resilience.AI Lab, working with rapidly evolving AI advancements. To succeed in this role, I have expanded my technical skill set, gaining experience with Python and data preprocessing techniques to support AI-driven infrastructure resilience research.• Impactful Creativity - It has been important to me to involve myself in positions that allow me to express my creativity. In 2022, I served as my fraternity’s Public Relations chair where I directed public relations and community outreach events, developed marketing strategies, and created promotional material for events and the student body. Building on this role, I transitioned into a more professional setting after I was asked to join the Subsea Tieback Student Design Competition Committee after participating as a student. In this role, I applied my creative skill set to develop marketing materials for the Subsea Tieback website, create targeted promotional content, and establish university partnerships to increase student participation.
