I worked for five years as a communications manager and product development manager. I left my day job to start my startup combining the world of mobile gaming with the world of coupons and customer acquisition. Within one year, we got 1.5 million downloads and 800k active monthly users. That startup failed due to a lack of digital payment, the wrong business model, and a lack of investors in Iraq. But we learned a lot. Currently on my second startup, Padash, and it is based on some needs we saw in our first startup; restaurants want to take back control of their delivery and pick-up orders and stop paying huge commissions to food delivery companies. So, we are providing them with the marketplace and tools needed to receive, manage, track, and fulfill customer orders for delivery, pick-up, and dine-in themselves at 5 times cheaper cost, bypassing the need for delivery companies. Our app enables 5 minute food and grocery delivery for consumers for free, forever. Personal hobbies and interests: business, entrepreneurship, science, philosophy, books, table tennis, language learning, and then watching movies and TV shows in all of the languages I learn.
