Created the Crypto Transaction Monitoring Program including transaction monitoring procedures for blockchain tracing and investigations, escalations, and SAR filings. • Led integration efforts for compliance tools including Chainalysis KYT and Notabene’s Travel Rule Solution with Cross River’s internal system (COS) to ensure data flow of cryptocurrency transactions is compliant with regulatory requirements. These efforts include drafting business/compliance requirements documentation, working directly with the business and tech team on weekly calls to capture requirements, and proposing solutions for identified gaps.• Worked with the sanctions compliance team to create a procedure for segregating crypto funds that were identified as potentially associated with sanctioned wallets or entities. • Assisted with model risk validation for the blockchain analysis vendor (Chainalysis) to test the platform rules and ensure proper alerting.
