ABOUT ADRIAN DI NARDO

I am a Hydraulic, and Fire Protection Engineer in GHD’s South Australian Building Engineering team. In this role, I deliver designs as a Project Manager, and Design Engineer. I joined the GHD team on a casual basis in 2015, during the final year of my Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical and Sustainable Energy) at the University of Adelaide. I initially worked with the ESD team, and once I Graduated in 2016, I started working with the Mechanical (HVAC), Hydraulics, and Fire Protection teams. Since then, I have been involved in various exciting projects both as a lead engineer and supporting engineer. I have just return from working as the DSC Site Lead for the construction of the Maritime Essential Services Centre (MESC) Project in Lami, Fiji. The project is a partnership between Australia and Fiji, who are working together to deliver infrastructure works for the Republic of Fiji Military Forces. Similarly, during 2021, I undertook the site lead role for MEP services in Nadi Fiji for the BlackRock Camp Project. In addition to my day-to-day job, I am an advocate for supporting social and professional development. I was a part of the GHD South Australian region Young Professionals (YPs) committee, and in 2019-20 I was the Acting Chair for most of the year. Through the GHD YPs, I supported learning and helped my colleagues achieve their professional goals.
