I am a final-year I-Ph.D.(SRF) research scholar at the Department of Earth Sciences, IISER Kolkata (India), exploring the petrogenesis of Paleoproterozoic continental intraplate mafic magmatism and its role in crustal evolution. My research integrates geochemistry, Sm-Nd isotopes, and zircon geochronology to gain a deeper understanding of deep Earth processes.I am open to conversations and future interdisciplinary collaborations that bridge STEM, society, and sustainability.

ABOUT ADITYA VERMA
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in STEM\"AV is a final-year Int. Ph.D.(SRF) Research Scholar (Geological Sciences) at the Department of Earth Sciences, IISER Kolkata (India), exploring the petrogenesis of Paleoproterozoic continental intraplate mafic magmatism and its role in crustal evolution. My research integrates field study-sampling, geochemistry, Sm-Nd isotopes, and zircon geochronology (U-Pb dating) to gain a deeper understanding of deep Earth processes.Moreover, I serve as a Teaching Assistant for Bs-Ms students in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.I left my allotted seats at IIT Bhubaneswar and NIT Rourkela to pursue the research (Integrated PhD) program at IISER Kolkata.I look forward to expanding my research interests toward (including field-based studies) crustal evolution, granite-greenstone belts, and volcanology.I\'m passionate about geoscience communication— including geodiversity conservation, geoheritage and geotourism— and actively engage in geoscience outreach to enhance public awareness and support for geoconservation efforts. I enjoy connecting with both the scientific fraternity (through academic forums) and local stakeholders (in the field), including policymakers, bureaucrats, and others, to promote geodiversity education and geoconservation.I am open to conversations and future interdisciplinary collaborations that bridge STEM, society, and sustainability.
