About Adelle Nkeze
I’m a junior honors student at the University of Arizona majoring in Neuroscience and Cognitive Sciences, with minors in Biochemistry, Health & Human Values, and Business Administration. I’ve always been curious about how systems work, whether in the brain, in public health, or in financial markets. That curiosity continues to shape how I learn, lead, and contribute.Over time, my interest in finance has become a driving force in my academic and professional journey. I was honored to be named Fellow of the Year in J.P. Morgan Chase’s Advancing Black Pathways Fellowship, where I gained hands-on experience in investment strategy, client planning, and relationship management. I also collaborated on a capstone focused on Gen Z financial engagement. On campus, I’m part of the Wall Street Scholars Program, where I’ve developed skills in market analysis, financial modeling, and strategic thinking through a curriculum focused on investment banking and high finance.Outside of finance, I contribute to community-based research through the Harm Reduction Lab, supporting projects focused on substance use, health equity, and public policy. I co-manage a small web operations business and serve as a peer mentor in both Chemistry and Neuroscience. My academic and leadership efforts have been recognized through awards such as the Vaughan Honors Leadership Award, the Society for Neuroscience Conference Scholarship, and an invitation to the Johns Hopkins U.S. Coalition for African Immigrant Health Conference. I’ve also completed over 300 volunteer hours with organizations like the Community Food Bank and Ronald McDonald House Charities.At the core of everything I do is a commitment to learning. I hope to continue applying my skills in environments that value critical thinking, collaboration, and curiosity.
