I am a sales and marketing professional with 17 yrs of industrial, distribution, and manufacturing experience. I fundamentally believe that, regardless of what you are selling, sales is all about interacting with and engaging \"people\". It\'s not just business. It\'s personal. I have always been a people person. My grandfather always said that \"he never met someone that he couldn\'t talk to.\" Spending time with him during my childhood must have rubbed off on me. Striking up a conversation in the elevator is second nature to me. Keeping your head down and not acknowledging another human being seems alien.I like to get behind the scenes and figure out what makes people tick. Simon Sinek\'s \"Start with Why\" fundamentally changed my life. I look for the \"why\" in both my personal and professional relationships. Once you have established someone\'s motivation, you can work alongside them to create something amazing. I am a disruptor. I believe in challenging the status quo. Hearing,\"that\'s the way we\'ve always done it,\" is like nails on a chalkboard to me. Asking,\"what if?\", is music to my ears.My engine never stops. I am always in search of the next step or action in a process. I am a data & insight guy. I methodically dissect challenges that I encounter, find a point of leverage, and exploit it to achieve positive outcomes.I spend my spare time coaching youth sports with my kids, reading political thrillers, being an outdoorsman, and binge-watching Netflix with my wife.
