ABOUT ADAM RACETTE
Currently, I work as a Clinical Specialist at Abbott in which I am responsible for supporting various types of heart rhythm procedures (Electrophysiology). My responsibilities include running our mapping system and various other equipment throughout the lab, establishing strong communication with the physician and lab staff, and supporting clinical trials when necessary. Previously, I was a student at the University of Michigan where I worked to build an extensive background in research with experience in diverse topics: analyzing murine articular cartilage with micro-CT, developing a knowledge-based planning algorithm for lung cancer radiation treatment, and exploring the effects of aging patterns on the mechanical strength of trabecular bone through mechanically testing 3D-printed models.
