My responsibilities include running our mapping system and various other equipment throughout the lab, establishing strong communication with the physician and lab staff, and supporting clinical trials when necessary. Previously, I was a student at the University of Michigan where I worked to build an extensive background in research with experience in diverse topics: analyzing murine articular cartilage with micro-CT, developing a knowledge-based planning algorithm for lung cancer radiation treatment, and exploring the effects of aging patterns on the mechanical strength of trabecular bone through mechanically testing 3D-printed models.
