Job Description: A) Long Term Strategy Development1) Incorporate plan for engineering activities linked to expansion and modernization initiatives in the overall long-term strategy and Business plan2) Assess business risks, analyze impact and develop mitigation strategies for engineering and maintenance related activities at the plantB) Budgeting and Financial Planning1) Cascade the operating plan to respective roles as well as the projects and production team to ensure alignment in operations at plant.2) Drive and support the development of the annual operating budget for electrical and instrumentation maintenance in line with the overall budget3) Assess ROI for projects and initiatives at the plant location4) Monitor and control CAPEX and OPEX for the department through periodic reviews and undertake the right measures to ensure cost optimization C) Engineering and Maintenance Operations and TQMa) Responsible for creating and execution of overall Preventive maintenance schedule for Electrical and Instrumentation areas related to machine/ equipment /utilitiesb) Create and execute highest safety standards to proactively avoid major breakdowns/accidents (E.g. machine safety interlocking, SOP implementation)c) Identify and implement Cost saving projects by evaluating the pros/cons in order to meet plant expansion objectivesD) Legal and Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (Environmental law, health and safety regulations etc.) F) Capability Development: Develop a team that is aligned to and continuously lives the Mahindra values Ensure high productivity and engagement of respective teams and act as a guide/mentor for their continual development
