Inbound Logistics Management & Out Bound Logistic & 3PL Warehousing (From Aug - 2017 to Till Date) Managing entire Inbound Logistics operation viz. Domestic/International transportation up to factory warehousing with 3PL Warehouse management from in warding to outward. Co-ordination with transporters for proper receiving of material from suppliers, monitoring PAN India movement of material in PTL/FTL mode as per defined transit time. Optimum utilization of dedicated vehicles from supplier end for volumetric components. Maintain good communication channel & develop good working relationship with organization, suppliers and transporters. Coordination with 3PL and shipping lines for execution of monthly import plan as well as with Government officials (Port, Customs) for seamless import operation. Ensuring smooth in warding of material with proper documents, storage at defined store locations and movement to the destination. Tracking and maintain inventory levels in the stores for all the items required in the plant. Efficiently managing inventory levels for ensuring ready availability of material to meet production and dispatch target. Effectively implementing FIFO system to avoid creation of dead stock. Preparation of MIS that include Premium freight report, stock ageing report, perpetual inventory report and present to management on daily/weekly/monthly basis. Negotiating with transporters to ensure seamless and cost-effective movement of consignment.Achievement: Achieved cost saving in Logistics transportation expenses by reducing impact of increased fuel price – by keeping local freight rates same against increased fuel price. PAN India PTL movements freight rates reduced by 13% by RFQ/ZBC and negotiation with transporters, annual INR saving is approx.Rs.28Lakhs. Impact of 10% rate increase of both 3PL WH reduced by keeping rates unchanged from last 2years. 3PL WH space utilization optimized by implementing HDR racks with better
