Responsible for all event tasks, including event design, timelines, production, menu, logistics, vendors, etc. Exceeds sales quotes for AV, decor, floral, rentals, specialty food and beverage, and entertainment Communicates all event details to all departments in a professional, thorough, and timely manner Manages a variety of event tasks to include event design/theme, timelines, event production, menu requests, implements logistics, vendor scheduling, dock utilization, décor company support and provides approvals on purchase orders, Special Event Orders, logo usage, event spend, etc. Supervises Venue Management and Event Staff to ensure proper execution of event with a high level of guest satisfaction Attend site visits, pre-planning meetings, and appropriate venue meetings as necessary to support the guest event experience Effectively communicate information through written correspondence and oral communication with the client, hotel / venue contacts and internally Appropriately communicates/delegates with Managers and Supervisors Prepares, executes, and properly closes events and respective venues Identify extensions/guest overage opportunities during events to create more revenue Ensures guests are being served alcohol per alcohol training and certification standards Maintains clean and organized storage facilities, while keeping accurate inventory counts of all supplies Properly complete event logs and all financial paperwork in compliance with accounting guidelines and distributes to internal stakeholders
