My work touches on numerous aspects of politics in advanced industrial democracies. I seek to understand ways that intra-party politics influence political outcomes such as election results, legislative behavior and policy outcomes in Europe using a combination of traditional social science methods and advancements from computer science in machine learning, natural language processing and AI.
