ABOUT ZUBAIR JUNJUNIA
I started ZNotes as a 16-year-old witnessing educational inequality firsthand, and today, it is the world\'s largest student-driven revision community that has reached 6 million learners in 190+ countries. An award-winning social-impact startup, we\'re on a mission to end educational inequality for young people everywhere by leveraging community-led content creation and peer learning to level the playing field for high-stakes, end-of-school exams.Along this journey, I’ve been humbled to receive honours such as the Diana Legacy Award, the Commonwealth Youth Award for Europe, and appointed as a Generation17 Young Leader by the UNDP and Samsung. I was recently included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list for Social Impact and became one of the youngest recipients of the Freedom of the City of London.I have been invited to share my insights and journey at global stages, including the 79th UN General Assembly, COP28 Dubai, QS Reimagine Education and the Misk Global Forum. I became the youngest commencement speaker in the history of UCL at the 2023 Graduation Ceremony. I also regularly deliver guest lectures on social entrepreneurship and community-led learning at universities, including the University of Cambridge, King’s College London and UCL.I am dedicated to ensuring fair and equal access to education globally, serving as an advisory board member of the Digital Education Futures Initiative (DEFI) at the University of Cambridge and previously as the National Youth Leader for the UK at the Global Partnership for Education. I hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics from University College London with a special interest in mathematical modelling and algebraic topology. With my learnings at ZNotes, I am spearheading an AI-enabled and community-led learning model in national curricula globally to ensure equitable quality education is available to all, especially in the most underresourced education systems.Aside from all this, I am an endurance athlete - a marathon runner, inline and figure skater and I can sometimes be found jumping in the River Cam at near-freezing temperatures. 🧊// For corporate sponsorship and speaker enquiries, please send an email to p•••@znotes.org //
