ABOUT DANA A.
I am a systems design engineer at Rolls Royce, very passionate about rockets and liquid rocket engines. I graduated MEng Aerospace Engineering with Private Pilot Instruction from the University of Sheffield, UK. I was the project lead for SunrIde rocketry team for 3 years (Sheffield University Nova Rocket Innovation Design Engineering), after breaking the UK’s 19-year-old open altitude record with a rocket we designed and manufactured for Spaceport America Cup 2019. I won an award from NASA in 2017 for my project “Laser Shielding Odyssey”, participated in FIRST Lego League for several years, and completed a 4 years mental maths course.
