ABOUT ZHENGYUAN ZHOU

During my academic career, I have gained valuable experience working with large amounts of data in various fields. I have also devoted significant time to learning about scientific research, data analysis, and programming, which has helped me build a solid foundation of knowledge and skills. I am eager to continue learning and growing as a Software Engineer and am confident that I will be able to quickly adapt to new technologies and challenges.I am particularly drawn to the field of machine learning and have focused on this area in my studies. I have taken on a variety of challenging projects related to different domains, such as EEG data analysis. For example, I used advanced machine learning techniques such as PCA, LDA, and SVM to classify subjects as alcoholic or non-alcoholic based on EEG data. I also predicted the type of a stellar object based on its spectrum data by building machine learning models using decision trees, random forests, and gradient boosting techniques. These experiences have helped me develop strong problem-solving and communication skills, as well as the ability to adapt to new methods and approaches.
