ABOUT ZACHARIAH PARKHILL

As a Project Management Specialist at U.S. Coast Guard, I apply my knowledge and skills in project management, customer relationship management, and IT service management to support the C5ISC Business Operations Division Project Management Branch. I have a Master\'s Certificate in Project Management from Cornell University, and I hold several certifications, including PMP, CSM, and ITIL4. I have over two years of experience as a project management consultant, providing expertise to the USCG Project Management Branch under the C4IT Service Center. I facilitated the transition and consolidation of the three USCG Centers of Excellence under the newly formed C5I Service Center Project Management Offices, creating policies, procedures, and templates to standardize USCG IT project management processes and key knowledge areas. After join public service, I also acted as the solution architect and system administrator for the Project Management Branch implementation of Microsoft Project Online, developing governance, delivering training, and leading the migration of project data from legacy systems. I am passionate about developing creative solutions, operating using both traditional and agile methodologies, and using technology such as Jira, Project Online, and associated Microsoft Office applications.
