Collaborate with the director to provide leadership in the formulation, implementation and assessment of campus and curriculum internationalization plans to infuse international perspectives in teaching, research and services and to provide intercultural and global engagement experiences for U.S and international students and generate departmental reports.• Oversee traditional study abroad, faculty led short term study abroad, international student success, international student recruitment and international alumnae relations initiatives. • Supervise and conduct performance evaluation for study abroad director, assistant director for faculty led initiatives and student advisor for international student programming• Provide direction and leadership to ensure programs implemented by programming, faculty led and study abroad divisions contribute towards building global perspectives, international student transition, community engagement, international student success and foster student mobility internationally • Oversee development of collaborations and partnerships with institutions of higher education and allied services abroad and domestic to enhance education abroad options to engage student and faculty from all academic background• Responsible for developing international student recruitment, retention strategies and international alumni relations.• Develop and implement intercultural and global competency training programs for staff, faculty, graduate assistants, student workers and students• Develop and implement leadership development and community engagement programs for international students and collaborate with other units on campus to assure international student success• Advise students and scholars individually on personal, intercultural and academic matters and assist students in emergency situations
