I oversee the marketing initiatives and outreach activities for the WorkBC Employment Program, funded by both the Government of Canada and the Province of British Columbia My responsibilities primarily involve overseeing activities across two WorkBC offices within the Richmond catchment area. Key duties include organizing marketing events, coordinating advertising campaigns, executing promotional activities, managing social media channels, planning and promoting events, handling public relations, and conducting community outreach efforts.In this role, I\'ve gained comprehensive experience across various marketing facets, such as advertising, content creation, email marketing, digital marketing, and event management. Noteworthy achievements from my tenure include- Created an annual marketing plan, achieving an average of 400% increase in engagement on social media (Facebook and Instagram) over the year from 2023 to 2024- Grew our community across all owned channels and increased social media reach by 224% and visit by 427% from 2023 to 2024, with nearly 1.8K followers on Facebook- Developed an integrated digital marketing strategy that increased online traffic to the WorkBC website and boosted client acquisition by 85% YoY through targeted campaigns on social media, SEO, and content marketing initiatives- Conceptualized, planned and organized over 16 significant events from 2023 to 2024, including the annual Richmond Job Fair for over attendees and 40 employers, one of the most successful hiring events in Richmond, BC- Built strong partnerships and connections with the City of Richmond, Richmond Public Library, and various local community agencies for events and collaborative projects.
