ABOUT YANICK TREMBLAY
I help organizations transform ideas into structured, ready to market products and digital workflows — bridging together innovation, operations, IP and real-world constraints. My background combines creative management, design thinking with operational rigor, legal/IP awareness, and speed-to-market execution across both startups and Fortune 500 environments. I began my career in a small startup competing directly with category leaders like LEGO, later collaborating with global brands including Disney, Activision, and Bandai. I went on to lead skunkworks innovation teams within a Fortune 500 organization, operating at the intersection of design, strategy, and execution.Throughout my career, I’ve specialized in turning ambiguity into clarity — building workflows, decision frameworks, and product strategies that move concepts from vision to market. In industries where timing is decisive, I became known for delivering exceptionally fast time-to-market on licensed product lines without compromising quality or brand integrity understanding the importance of storytelling. My experience includes hands-on exposure to licensing and IP strategy, including contributing to a landmark international trademark case. This work deepened my understanding of how innovation, legal realities, and commercial strategy interact in global markets.I also served as President of the Association des designers industriels du Québec, contributing to professional standards, advocacy, and the evolution of industrial design practice in Québec.Today, I work as an independent analyst focused on digital workflows, technology, and long-term systems — helping leaders design structures that enable better decisions, faster execution, and more resilient innovation.
