ABOUT KEVIN FERRARA

Mr. Kevin Ferrara, regarded as a trusted Subject Matter Expert by his peers, applies his proven 35-years of fire service experience and agile fire protection and emergency service (FPES) consulting expertise to career and volunteer emergency service affiliated organizations, as well as state and local governmental agencies around the world. Kevin provides leadership and management support on matters pertaining to identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining strategies and techniques critical to operate and sustain FPES organizations. effectively and efficiently. Throughout his service in the United States Air Force (USAF), prior to his retirement, Kevin received, created, and provided in-depth fire service and technical rescue training while achieving higher education and professional credentials that supported his selection to senior fire official roles at military installations around the world to include the Pentagon. As a result of his distinguished accomplishments, Kevin received numerous accolades from national and international governmental and fire service leaders and organizations. As a strong advocate for firefighter health and safety, Kevin is often sought as a guest on multiple television and print media outlets. His experience regarding military firefighter occupational exposure to toxic PFAS (Per and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances) reached a national audience multiple times through The National Desk\'s \"Spotlight on America\" award winning investigative television show. In addition, Kevin lobbies federal and state governments seeking the passage of various legislation regarding firefighter health and safety, specifically medical treatment and compensation for exposed firefighters, including those receiving medical care from the Veterans Affairs (VA).
