Second rotation: Group Technology Service Management - Functions TechnologyIn my current rotation within Barclays\' Functions division, I collaborate with cross-functional teams that include HR, Legal, Compliance, and Procurement. I streamline site reliability monitoring by organising scattered dashboards into high-level overviews, making it easier to track key metrics and improve team efficiency. I create dashboards on Kibana based on logs from Elasticsearch, set up automated error alerts, and develop Python and Powershell scripts to automate regular report generation and certificate renewal, reducing manual effort and enhancing operational workflows. Additionally, I support interns and new graduates by providing guidance and assisting with onboarding to help them integrate smoothly into the bank.First rotation: Group Technology Service Management - BUK Customer TechnologyDuring this rotation, I worked as an Application Support Analyst for Barclays\' retail online banking website, where I contributed to the synthetic monitoring of customer journeys using Python and Selenium to ensure system reliability. I conducted data analysis for Bank of England regulatory reporting, starting with Excel-based data cleaning and progressing to configuring business transactions on AppDynamics for automated data extraction. I also conducted log analysis using Elasticsearch to support incident management and root cause investigations. Additionally, I created research materials and onboarding documentation to support new joiners and promote departmental knowledge sharing.
