Software Test Engineer @Intuitive

Software development, testing and debugging, validation, upgrade, and maintenance activities across a variety of manufacturing equipment. Testing and qualifying software for manufacturing and test equipment used to produce Intuitive Ion robotic systems, instruments, and accessories. Develop, execute, and release software test plans, automate scripts, and other programs for testing. Analyze and draft test standards and procedures for manufacturing software qualification. Work with other engineering staff (such as Product Development, Equipment Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, and Quality Engineer teams) to assist in debugging and modification of software, analyze test results, and recommend corrective action. Perform testing and validation activities on manufacturing equipment Support existing production software and troubleshoot production line issues Implement best practices in software testing (white box testing, black box testing, scrums, security, unit testing, etc.) Implement automate data collection software, flexible database, data sampling, control charts and dashboard analysis to improve manufacturing capability, yield, and capacity Interface with a multitude of technical and support teams Work independently to overcome roadblocks with some guidance Support quality, internal/external audits, and other software-related duties as required Languages: Python, Agile, Matlab, JSON.
