ABOUT YARLIN DE CRUZ

As a Creative designer passionate about turning ideas into visuals that connect and engage with others, I’ve explored many outlets to express myself, personally and professionally. Raised in Washington Heights by a single mother who encouraged creative freedom, I found a deep appreciation for art, music, film, and acting. Whether visiting museums or studying acting, these experiences sparked a lifelong curiosity that eventually led me to pursue design as a career. In college, I took a leap of faith and found myself in the creative world. Since then, I have developed a range of skills including. Adobe Creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Figma 🧠Design and creative thinking 🧱Wireframing and Mockups user-persona development Although art has a special place in my heart, I also enjoy working across disciplines—whether it’s crafting visual identities, creating user-centered mockups, or telling stories through design. I’m continue growing as an artist and designer while staying connected to the creative passions that shaped me. Hobbies: Painting, Snowboarding, ‍cooking, traveling, and reading Languages: Fluent in English & Spanish
