Responsible for gathering and analyzing credit information on current and potential borrowers. Provide detailed feedback to the client documenting the basis for credit and collateral decisions and noting exceptions. Determines the advisability of granting credit for diversified types of loans, assists loan officers in writing loan requests. Works directly with brokers to review initial loan requests. Responsible for completing financial statement and tax return spreads and/or cash flow analyses. Responsible for drafting LOl’s and creating a loan structure that is eligible to SBA and within bank guidelines. Keeps active credit files accurate within ShareFile and SPARK until assigned to underwriter. Assist gathering data from customers, internal and outside sources, prepares spreadsheets and analyzes financial information including financial statements and tax returns, contacts customers for additional information and clarification of data. Performs asset verification, research assessor records, Zillow, secretary of state, fictitious firm name filings, business websites, contractor’s board, medical, dental boards, etc. Develops knowledge of financial industry, economy, market conditions, rates, vendors, and competition. Assists in the obtaining information to complete BSA CIP and Risk Rating forms. Trains and/or mentors credit analyst. Prepares needs letters, decline worksheets, and decline letters. Performs property inspections and detailed lease reviews, as needed.
