ABOUT HAROLD WANG
I’m a UofT Stats & Econ student who turns complex, messy information into clear, decision-ready insights—from reconciling details across systems to building structured analysis workflows and packaging takeaways into concise decks. I’m drawn to finance and capital markets where accuracy, rigorous thinking, and strong execution support better decisions.Most recently, I interned at RBC supporting time-sensitive registered account transfers, exception resolution, and audit-ready documentation in a regulated environment. I regularly handled 20+ transfer cases per day, reconciled balances/holdings across systems, and coordinated with internal partners and external institutions to clear issues and meet tight service timelines. On the analytics side, I’ve built regression-based forecasting models and logistic-regression workflows in R, focusing on sound validation, interpretation, and stakeholder-friendly reporting. Outside of internships, I lead cross-campus and cross-university partnerships through UofT CSSA, coordinating stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables to drive execution.
