Serving as a Fulbright Specialist advancing digital learning, innovation, and equity worldwide, helping universities and nonprofits connect technology with education, inclusion, and measurable impact.Appointed by the U.S. Department of State to the 2025–2028 Fulbright Specialist Roster to advise international partners on digital modernization, leadership, and institutional culture. Specialists serve on short, targeted assignments, typically 14 to 42 days under program law, allowing ongoing full-time professional commitments to continue uninterrupted.Currently awaiting deployment orders for my Kuwait mission, Empowering Girls in a Digital World—a cybersecurity and technology-equity initiative that equips young women (ages 14–25) with practical skills, mentorship, and a sustainability handover plan for long-term impact.• Design and deliver hands-on cybersecurity and digital-equity training linking technology, ethics, and empowerment• Build faculty and institutional capacity through human-centered, data-informed systems that expand access and measure learning impact• Translate complex technology and governance concepts into plain-language tools aligning policy, mission, and collaboration• Integrate Women, Peace & Security (UNSCR 1325) principles with STEM education and sustainable-development frameworksAligned UN Sustainable Development Goals – SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 9 (Industry & Innovation), SDG 16 (Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).This appointment extends four decades of connecting technology, education, and human potential—helping institutions use digital tools not only to inform but to inspire. It also deepens my ability to link global collaboration, ethical innovation, and sustainability with the regional missions I care most about here in Monterey Bay and beyond, complementing my Monterey-based focus on linking global digital equity with local ocean and sustainability initiatives.
