Over seeing the operation of the assigned ROV system, and make sure all tasks defined in the work scope are performed according to internal and external requirements.Responsible for safe and effective ROV operations and maintenanceAbility to obtain grade level competency certificate and progress in the company\'s competency programEnsure that internal/external Health, Safety, Environment and Quality requirements are adhered to at all timesParticipate in familiarization and debriefing sessions prior to mobilization/demobilization (if applicable)Familiarize and adhere to all guidance and instructions outlined in the BMS (Business Management System)Participate in the project responsibilities as specified in the project scope of workResponsible for the safety of each crew member, and any person directly involved in the ROV operationAct as liaison with all the vessel\'s parties and onshore ROV departmentFamiliarize the crew with the project\'s scope of work and all applicable safety regulations and requirementsEnsure that ROV logs, reports and the quality of service is consistent according to SS7 standards.Allocate tasks to the ROV team members in accordance with their experience/training.Monitor the team performance and report feedback to the ROV Project Manager and others as applicable.Participate in internal ROV system training of personnel.Ensure that ROV system documentation is updated and maintainedEvaluate ROV systems maintenance schedules and advise onshore support of any technical matters/needsEnsure that all permanent ROV modifications have been reviewed, approved, and documentedEnsure that ROV system equipment, tooling, and any ancillary devices are in compliance with all applicable rules, regulations and safety requirements.Carried out ROV/Tooling upgrades to all Brazilian fleet PLSV.Working onshore fabricating/building and Factory Acceptance Testing 4 x SMD CSP ROV systems.
