Develop and monitor processes of aluminum castings on cold chamber die cast machines. Along with monitoring and improving existing processes, I spend a lot of time building and modifying existing controls and implementing new unique control functions to protect our internal and external customers. I often play the role of \"in house IT\". I maintain and back up the windows and dos computers on the equipment. I have engineered and implemented Vacuum hardware, gripper manifolds, spray manifolds, tip lube units, micro spray units, modified existing monitoring equipment, etc.
