Identifies areas where current program policies that need adjustments then offers recommendations that strengthen the safety and soundness of the housing finance system.Represents FHFA in senior-level engagements with GSEs, regulatory counterparts, industry leaders, rating agencies, and academic experts. Delivers formal briefings, speeches, serves on panels, and maintains active contact with external stakeholders and professional organizations. Responds to inquiries from Congress, media, and other parties on matters of national significance to ensure that research is translated into effective policy outcomes.
