I\'ve always been fascinated by how groundbreaking technologies seamlessly integrate into everyday life, profoundly shaping how we approach and solve problems. Studying Computer Science at UCLA, I\'ve explored the complex underpinnings of innovations such as generative AI and machine learning—yet my professional journey has shown me that the true challenge (and excitement) lies in identifying real-world applications that meaningfully impact people\'s lives. My internship at AGS Health deepened my interest in healthcare as a transformative industry for technological innovation. Researching value-based care strategies, I identified opportunities not just for increasing data volume in ICD-10 coding, but for entirely new avenues such as autonomous clinical documentation powered by advances in Natural Language Processing. Subsequently, at OpenMotion AI, I gained firsthand experience observing how patients interact with next-generation musculoskeletal rehabilitation tools driven by computer vision, focusing on product features that genuinely improve adoption and patient outcomes. What captivates me most about healthcare technology is its boundless potential paired with the nuanced challenge of implementing solutions that are both practically effective and economically viable. Navigating this complexity is precisely where I see the greatest opportunity for innovation and impact. I\'m thrilled to continue exploring these opportunities as I start my upcoming role at HealthEdge this summer, where I\'ll further contribute to making healthcare more accessible, efficient, and impactful through thoughtful technological innovation.
