I have wide experience in the software world, having worked as a software engineer, a database administrator, and a team lead. I’m now an application security engineer, helping companies secure their software assets from attackers through a combination of penetration testing, secure code review, application security program assessments, and software engineering. I can quickly pick up a wide variety of technologies and business processes, and I’m always willing to help knowledge share to raise the skills of others. One of my strongest strengths is my ability to explain complex technical jargon to all levels of the business. I understand business goals and risk management frameworks that can be used to make business decisions. I have a curious mind that always wants to learn better ways to do things, am a strong troubleshooter, and am always patient with others.I am always looking for ways to improve the performance of the team, balancing business objectives with the personal objectives of the team.
