Award-winning filmmaker with 9 years of production experience both in China and the US. Deep knowledge of both the business side as well as the creative side of the industry and capable of balancing those two. A true collaborator with cultural sensitivity and excellent communication skills. Wish to tell emotional stories that touch the audience as human beings, with innovative cinematic language combined with advanced technology and traditional Chinese culture. In 2016, Alfred P. Sloan Foundation selected me to direct a short film Li Shan about SARS outbreak in 2003, an US-China co-production with more than 300 participants throughout 2 years of the process from start to finish. Now it\'s in the festival circuit and has received recognition from festivals including Asian on Film, Cleveland International Film Festival, DC Asian Pacific American Film Festival, Canada-China Internation Film Festival, Asian Film Festival of Dallas, and more to come.
