I taught a graduate seminar on Cultural Identity to students in the Masters of Intercultural and International Communication (MAIIC) at Royal Roads University in 2015 and 2016, and supervised a directed study for a doctoral student in the Doctor of Social Sciences (DSS) program at RRU across 2016-17. I taught Advanced Research Methods to the MAIIC students in 2017, and supervised a different doctoral student in DSS for several years until she earned her Doctorate in 2022. I taught a different course, Public Culture, in spring and again in fall 2021, and designed a new course, Migration and Diaspora Studies in Global Context, for the MAIIC program in 2021-22. Over the past several years, I have also given several guest lectures at RRU, and participated in a Roundtable discussion. I was given the Outstanding Associate Faculty Award for Teaching Excellence in 2021.
